Dear PMI Central Virginia Chapter Members,

As we step into the vibrant energies of spring, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible dedication and enthusiasm that each one of you brings to our community. It's through your unwavering support and commitment that we continue to thrive and make a positive impact on the world of project management.

First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers. Your tireless efforts are the backbone of our chapter, driving initiatives forward, and fostering an environment of learning and growth. From organizing events to mentoring aspiring project managers, your contributions are truly invaluable. Your passion for our profession is not only commendable but also infectious, inspiring others to join us in our mission to elevate the standards of project management excellence.

To our broader membership base, I want to express my appreciation for your active engagement and participation. Your presence at our events, your insightful contributions to discussions, and your eagerness to learn and share knowledge enrich our community immeasurably. It's your collective enthusiasm that fuels our efforts and motivates us to continually raise the bar in advancing the field of project management.

As we reflect on our achievements thus far, let us also look ahead with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. There is still much work to be done, many challenges to overcome, and countless opportunities to seize. In this spirit, I urge those of you who have not yet volunteered to consider joining our ranks. Whether you have a few hours to spare each month or can offer more substantial time commitments, your involvement will undoubtedly make a difference.

Our chapter is dedicated to serving its members by providing networking opportunities, and professional development initiatives, we strive to offer a diverse range of programs tailored to meet the evolving needs of our community. By volunteering your time and expertise, you not only enrich your own experience but also contribute to the collective success of our chapter.

In the coming months, we have an exciting lineup of events and initiatives planned, including networking sessions, educational events, and some fun family events. These opportunities serve as platforms for learning, collaboration, and idea exchange, enabling us to stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.

Please join us at the Member Appreciation and Recognition of Volunteers on April 5, 2024 at 5:30 P.M. This will be a fun-filled event at Brambly Park with food, music by Ten4One  Band, professional headshots, and guest speaker as well as lots of great networking with your peers.  Check out all the details at our website and please make sure to stop by and introduce yourself.   

In closing, I want to reiterate my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for your continued support and dedication. Together, we are building a vibrant and inclusive community that empowers project managers to excel in their careers and make meaningful contributions to society. Let us continue to inspire one another, uplift those around us, and strive for excellence in all that we do.
