PMI Central Virginia Chapter membership is an invaluable resource for the exchange of ideas and information. It is a great way to keep up-to-date with project management tools and techniques, as well as getting acquainted with fellow project management professionals.
How to Join PMI Central Virginia Chapter

To become a member of PMICVC, you must be a member of PMI Global
 
Cost: Annual membership to PMI costs $129 (+$10 for administrative fees if you are joining for the first time) and $30 to join PMICVC.

 

Select one of the two below options that apply to you and learn more about the steps to join PMI Central Virginia Chapter

New Members to PMI Global

  • New member, click on Register and create your PMI account

Step 3

  • Navigate to the Membership Tab and click on Become a Member
  • Choose the type of membership that applies to you
    • (more information about types of PMI membership is included below)

Step 4

  • Follow the steps to complete your information
  • At the cart, you will be given the option to Join a Chapter
    • Click on the Join a Chapter button
    • Choose PMI Central Virginia Chapter
    • Your selected chapter will be added to your cart
  • Add a Guest Pass code given to you by our PMI CVC Membership team if you are brand new to PMICVC.  If you don't have a code and you are new to PMI CVC, please email support@pmicvc.org and request a 'Guest Pass'.
  • Finalize the purchase of your membership to both PMI and PMI CVC
  • You are now a member
     
Existing PMI Global Members

Step 1

  • Existing member, click on Log In

Step 3

  • Navigate to the Membership Tab and click on Local Chapters
  • Type Central Virginia Chapter in the Search Bar
  • Select Central Virginia Chapter
  • Select Join Chapter
    • PMICVC will be added to your cart

Step 4

  • Finish checking out
  • You are now a member

Military Guest Pass Program

If you are a veteran in any branch of the military, click here and enter "One Year Free for Veteran" in the subject to send an email request to join PMI CVC at no cost for one year.

$32 / year

If you are enrolled in a full-time, degree-granting program at a college or university that has U.S. accreditation or the global equivalent you are eligible to receive a discounted member fee of $32 / year

$65 / year to renew

If you have been a PMI member in good standing for 5 consecutive years and have retired from active employment you are eligible for a discounted annual renewal fee of $65 / year
