Dear PMI Central Virginia Chapter Members,

As the newly-elected President of our chapter, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the dedication and enthusiasm you each bring to our community. It is your continuous support and commitment that allow us to thrive and create a meaningful impact in the world of project management. Your contributions have helped us grow, innovate, and support one another through challenges and successes alike.

I want to extend a special thank you to all of our volunteers. Your unwavering efforts form the foundation of our chapter, driving our initiatives forward and fostering an environment of growth and learning. Whether it’s organizing events, mentoring new project managers, or sharing your expertise, your contributions are indispensable. Your passion for our profession is inspiring, encouraging others to join our mission of advancing project management excellence.

To all of our members, thank you for your active participation and engagement. Your involvement in events, insightful contributions to discussions, and willingness to learn and share knowledge make our community stronger and richer. It is your collective energy that keeps us motivated and focused on pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together in this field.

As we celebrate the progress we've made over the years, let’s also look forward with renewed purpose. There is still much to accomplish, challenges to face, and opportunities to explore. For those who haven’t yet volunteered, I encourage you to consider stepping forward. Whether you have just a few hours each month or are able to commit more time, your involvement will have a lasting impact.

By volunteering, you not only enhance your own experience but also contribute to the success and growth of our entire community. Volunteering not only strengthens our community but also provides you with opportunities for professional growth, networking, and leadership development. We welcome fresh ideas and new perspectives - your voice matters, and your participation makes a difference.

I encourage you to explore ways to get involved and help us make this year our best yet. If you're interested in volunteering or learning more about how you can contribute, please reach out to [dir.volunteerism@pmicvc.org] or visit [https://pmicvc.org/volunteeropportunities].

Our chapter is committed to supporting our members through networking opportunities and professional development programs. Looking ahead, we have an exciting array of events and initiatives lined up, including networking gatherings, in-person dinner meetings, educational sessions, and family-friendly activities. These events provide a chance for learning, collaboration, and idea-sharing, helping us stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.

I invite you to join us for our Member Appreciation and Recognition of 2024 Volunteers (MARV) event on March 4, 2025, at 5:30 P.M. at The Place in Innsbrook. It will be a fun evening filled with food, professional headshots, a guest speaker, and great networking opportunities. Be sure to check our website (https://pmicvc.org/) for more details, and I hope to see you there!

In closing, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your ongoing support and dedication. Together, let’s make this year one of collaboration, innovation, and meaningful progress. Together, let's build a dynamic community that empowers project managers to excel and make meaningful contributions. Let’s continue to inspire, uplift, and strive for excellence in all we do.

Thank you for being a part of the PMI Central Virginia Chapter family.
