Speaker: Patrick Adams, PMP

Patrick Adams is a Project Management Professional with 20 plus years experience working in project management in the financial and hospitality industries.   In 2015, Patrick made a decision to exercise his creative brain and write a series of children's books. Since making that decision, and diving deep into many forms of creativity, Patrick has authored 17 books, released 10 full length music albums, been invited in to the Recording Academy and hosted a podcast for 6 seasons dedicated to artists making music for kids and families. Patrick continues to challenge himself in both his professional and creative endeavors to leave a legacy that he and his friends and family can be proud of.

The focus of this talk will center on Patrick’s background in project management (PM) and the powerful tools it equipped him with to navigate his, later in life, journey into the world of creative arts.

In this session, he will talk about some life changing decisions made to unleash his long dormant creative side and how starting from ground zero he went on to publish 18 children’s books, release over a dozen Albums and EPs, host a podcast for 6 seasons and has been invited into the Recording Academy as a Voting Member.  He will give examples of how PM Tools helped drive his creative output, powered his network of development and understand key aspects of the business.

He will also touch on his PM beginnings and his time involved with PMI CVC.

He will also have some merchandise, albums and books as giveaways and will feature some song snippets in his presentation.
