Closing the Execution Gap: Bridging Knowledge, Implementation, and Trust
Alicia M Morgan, PMP, AM-MC
Projects often meet their targets for time and budget. Yet the business value delivered doesn’t always reflect the effort and investment. This session explores how to turn solid execution into measurable impact. We’ll look at three essential areas: knowledge, implementation, and trust.
You’ll see how each one shapes the connection between strategy and results. Together, they define whether a project ends or creates lasting value. In this 20-minute session, you’ll learn practical ways to close the execution gap. You’ll walk away ready to strengthen alignment, improve outcomes, and advance business performance.
Perceptions and their Truth
Panayiotis “Takis” Melas, PMP, CSM, SPC
Perceptions, rather than the truth, tends to control the way we absorb, process, and respond to information, sometimes resulting in a negative outcome. Perceptions can often negatively affect Project Management delivery by creating misunderstanding, misalignment, frustration and loss of productivity or team cohesion. This presentation covers some core concepts around how perceptions can influence our ability to process information, and how it affects the way we communicate with others. Realizing the effect that perceptions have in our ability to communicate, identifying its impact, and responding to it in an effective manner, can positively influence our ability to collaborate with others toward the successful completion of a project.
