Presenter: Angela Edwards – Business Strategist & Project Leadership Coach Castle Thunder Consulting | https://castlethunder.com

Program Overview: Early-career project managers often fall into the trap of trying to get everything “right” — a habit that delays delivery, frustrates teams, and erodes confidence. This interactive session helps participants reframe their approach to project execution by recognizing when “good enough” is the best path forward. Grounded in practical tools and real-world stories, this talk equips attendees to deliver value more consistently by replacing perfectionism with purposeful action. Learning Objectives: By the end of this session, participants will: • Understand the hidden costs of perfectionism in project management • Differentiate between when perfection is required and when it is not • Apply tools like the Done vs. Perfect matrix to evaluate decisions • Identify one personal or professional habit to shift from perfection to progress • Leave with a checklist to guide “good enough” delivery.

Format Options:
Keynote Talk 30–45 mins
Unlimited Engaging talk with visual slides, stories, and live Q&A
Interactive Workshop 60–90 mins
Up to 40 Small group breakouts, real-world exercises, participant packet included

Ideal Audience: • New and aspiring project managers • PMP/CAPM candidates • PMs transitioning into leadership roles • Anyone who feels stuck between quality and delivery

Outcome for Participants: Attendees will walk away with more confidence in their ability to make delivery decisions, reduce overwork and scope creep, and lead with clarity — especially when project stakes are high but perfection is not required.
