Rear Admiral Michael T. Curran
IN-PERSON EVENT - Gather with fellow Veterans and PMs to network and gain insight from Rear Admiral Michael T. Curran, Supply Corps, USN (RET), as he shares valuable knowledge and experience in his project management journey in the military and civilian world. Rear Adm. Michael T. Curran is a native of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He is graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was commissioned through the NROTC program in 1991. He is also a 2008 graduate of Strayer University with a Master of Business Administration. He earned JPME Phase 1 through the Air Command and Staff College in 2008 and JPME Phase II through the Joint Forces Staff College in 2016
Curran served in the Navy (active & reserve) as a Supply Corps Officer for 31 years and retired as a Rear Admiral. He is a Federal Employee with over 23 years of service and has worked as a Contracting Specialist at Defense Logistics Agency Aviation in Richmond, Washington Headquarters Services in D.C., and currently works at the Defense Contract Management Agency at Fort Gregg-Adams.
Curran has mentored numerous service members throughout his career on making the transition from military to civilian life.
