Speaker Bio:
David is an Associate Director at Accenture and a Lead for the Business Agility practice. He has been working in agile since 2007 and with SAFe agile scaling since SAFe v3, 2011.
He graduated The Ohio State University in 1983 with a BS in Electrical Engineering following that in 1995 with an MBA from the Clemson University School of Business.
He has held multiple business and technology leadership positions at high technology and consulting companies , primarily NCR, Compaq, HP, AT&T, and Accenture. David has led and coached Agile and SAFe transformations at over 30 companies training 1000's of people.
He is a SAFe Program Consultant Trainer(SPCT), and is enabled to teach most SAFe courses. Other certifications he holds are: SAFe RTE, POPM, and APM; Scrum Alliance CSP-SM ,d CSP-PO; PMI PMI-ACP and past PMP; ASQ, Six Sigma Black Belt; and Lean and Design Thinking certificates.
David lives outside of Boston, MA with his wife Carol and black lab, Maggie.

What's new in the March 2023 release of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) v6.0
This presentation will introduce the participants to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at a high-level. It will primarily provide a deep dive and insights into the changes to the Framework from v5.1 to v6.0.
Learning Objectives:
- What key themes are built around SAFe v6.0
- Understand the additions on Flow and the extension of Business Agility
- What are the significant terminology changes between SAFe v5.1 and v6.0
