Speaker's Bio:

Joe Ward is the Founder, President and CEO of Ward Management Group, LLC. He is a military veteran, former officer with two different Big Four audit and management consulting firms, and former federal government senior executive. As a professionally certified speaker, teacher, trainer, and coach, Joe helps individuals and businesses achieve their goals while wowing audiences with a special blend of humor, raw candor, and wit. A survivor of the 9-11 Pentagon attack and the first in his family to attend college, Mr. Ward has 30+ years of experience in leadership, communications, federal financial management, and audit. To date, Joe’s trained over 2,000+ personnel on a variety of professional development topics ranging from risk management and internal controls to leadership and communications. His training classes consistently receive the highest ratings and comments and is often requested by name to lead a workshop. He was the first African American to lead the National Business Center in the history of the Department of the Interior and one of the most visible and highest-ranking executives in the department. Joe is an Executive Fellow with the KPMG Government Institute, past treasurer of the African American Federal Executive Association, and life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
