PMI CVC Board of Directors 2020 Nominations

Project Management Institute (PMI) Central Virginia Chapter is pleased to announce its 2020 Board of Directors nominations.  PMI CVC’s membership elects the Board members to serve either One-Year or Two-Year terms, depending on the role.   The election will be held this year from July 19 through August 2.  Each chapter member will receive a ballot through email to vote for one candidate for each role.   Here are the nominees for this year’s Board election:

Kelly Evans, PMP, CSM

Employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as a Senior Project/Program Manager.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in IT Management with a minor in Project Management and am currently pursuing my MBA.

Kelly's Volunteer Experience:   In 2014 was nominated by my peers within the PMI Central Va. Chapter, and subsequently won the “2014 PMI Chapter Award for Leadership.”  In 2016, was accepted to and completed the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class (LIMC).  In 2019 was selected as a PMI global volunteer - to review  proposals for the PMI Global Conference in 2019.

Joyce M Glady, PMP

Currently a Project Manager at Wells Fargo and has been with WF for 13 years. Has been a PM for over 19 years.   B.S., Business Administration, major in Decision Sciences, concentration in Information Resource Management (George Mason University) M.S., Information Systems Technology, major in Information Systems Project Management, 3 courses short of graduation (George Washington University).

Jennifer Romero-Greene, PMP, PMI-ACP

Gained her project management experience as a Lead IT Project Manager for Qwest Communications.  Self employed for over 15 years, PM Consulting, teaching, process mapping.  8 years IT Project Manager, 4 years IBM installations.  She earned her graduate degree in Organizational Management at the University of Colorado at Denver.

Jennifer's Volunteer Experience: Director of Roundtables - PMI Mile High Education Committee.  Elected VP of Finance PMI Mile Hi Chapter.  Advisory Board for Denver Educational Foundation (1st in PMI).

Jonette Meade

Worked for the USPS for 16 years as well as a Supervisor for SunTrust Bank, Online Banker for Wells Fargo Bank, Personal Banker for Wells Fargo.  I worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 5 years and I worked for Capital One bank for 5 years.  I am currently a FOC Supervisor for the City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities.   I have a Masters degree in Project Management.

Jonette's Volunteer Experience: Central VA Chapter - VP Marketing,  Multiple Volunteerism Committee roles, Researching and Procuring Sponsors, PMI “Virtual Congress” Pilot Participant.

   

John “Jack” Townsend, PMP

Currently, KBRwyle, Inc. - Subject Matter Expert  Maritime Systems.   Previously: Senior Vice President of Global IT  for International Container Terminal Services - Manila, Philippines;  IT Manager for Dubai Ports World (Dubai, UAE); Middle East Manager for Dun & Bradstreet Software (Dubai,UAE). Managed IT projects, data centers and staffs in Europe, East Africa, South America, Middle East, South Asia, Far East and USA. Lieutenant Commander, USNR, (Ret'd). B.S. United States Merchant Marine Academy. M.B.A. City University of New York.

Jack's Volunteer Experience: Founder and Past President of the PMI-CVC Toastmasters Club. Currently serving as the club's Sargeant-at-Arms.  Earned the Toastmaster Advanced Communicator Gold Award. Assisted at several FLIPM sessions.
