Roles and Responsibilities

The Vice President of Communications is responsible for all matters related to sponsorship, correspondence to include the chapter newsletter, membership, community outreach, social media, advertising and volunteerism, which will include the recognition dinner, recruitment and coordination

The VP of Communications is responsible for overseeing the following activities:

  • Correspondence / Newsletter
  • Membership
  • Community Outreach
  • Social Media
  • Volunteerism
  • Advertising

Important Qualifications or Skills

  • Dedication and commitment to the organization
  • Out-going, and personable
  • Understand Chapter functions to enable promotion of chapter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of PMI, PMP
  • Ability to work against a budget
  • Creative Thinking
